Louis Foster teams up with Copart ahead of debut British F4 season

19th February 2019

2018 Ginetta Junior Rookie Champion, Louis Foster, has partnered with Copart UK, as he prepares to take the latest step in his young career, into the FIA British Formula 4 Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost.

The new partnership sees the UK’s industry leader in used and salvage car auctions support the incredibly talented 15-year-old as he prepares for another big season when he makes his single-seater debut.

An incredibly successful transition from karts to cars, in last year’s Ginetta Junior Championship, saw Louis become the rookie champion, the overall vice champion as well as claiming new records for the highest number of wins taken by a rookie and becoming the series’ youngest ever race winner.

Taking his first stride on the FIA single-seater pyramid, this year will see Foster make his debut in single-seaters teaming up with 2018 British F4 champions, Double R Racing.

Originally founded in the United States in 1982, Copart enjoys a rich and proud history celebrating their 25th anniversary by launching their UK operation in 2007. Since then Copart UK has grown to such an extent that they now sell over 350,000 vehicles every year through their own dedicated online platform.

Hoping that he can mirror Copart UK’s upward trajectory in the years to come, Louis is delighted to have the online car auction specialists’ support ahead of the 2019 season.

“I’m extremely proud to be teaming up with Copart as I start the latest challenge in my career. The challenge only increases with every step up the motorsport ladder that you take and this year will be no different. To be doing so with Copart’s support will only help me in that challenge and I can’t wait to be proudly flying their flag out on track.”

Jane Pocock, Copart’s UK MD, is proud to be supporting Louis as he continues to rise through the motorsport ranks.

“Louis is a fiercely talented and dedicated young man and we are looking forward to supporting him as he takes his next step into British F4. Like Louis, last year was a hugely successful year for Copart and we are hoping that both ourselves and Louis can reach new heights in 2019.”
