Copart continue winning partnership with Louis Foster for 2020 in BRDC British F3

10th February 2020

MB Partners are delighted to announce the extension of Louis Foster’s winning partnership with leading online vehicle remarketing company, Copart UK. The Hampshire talent teamed up with the online auction specialists ahead of the 2019 season as he embarked on his first campaign in single-seaters and the pair enjoyed fantastic success in their first year of partnership.

Coming off the back of an immensely successful season in the Ginetta Junior Championship, Louis and Copart UK shared incredible success as the Lord Wandsworth College student started his assault on the single-seater ladder in style. Storming to an impressive six race wins, thirteen podiums and eight fastest laps across the year, Louis eventually claimed 3rd position in the Drivers’ Championship.

Unsurprisingly, Louis’ consistent and impressive performances drew further industry acclaim, earning a place on the initial Aston Martin Autosport BRDC shortlist, being selected as a BRDC Rising Star and becoming one of the four finalists in the Porsche GB Junior Shootout.

Stepping up with Double R Racing to the BRDC British F3 Championship this year, Louis hopes to mirror and build upon the successes from the first year of his partnership with Copart UK.

“Last year was a great year all round. Learning about the car and working with my team was a lot of fun and I was lucky to have some fantastic support around me. I really enjoyed working with the Copart team last year and I’ll always remember having their guests present for my nearly perfect weekend at Silverstone. I’ve learnt a lot personally from working with a company of their size and I’m looking forward to building out our programme this year.”

Jane Pocock, Managing Director of Copart UK, reflects positively upon the achievements of 2019 and is looking forward to all that the new year will bring.

“2019 was another successful year for Copart and working with Louis and his team was a real highlight. Copart team-mates and customers fully supported Louis during his debut F4 season, with many enjoying fantastic trackside experiences. The progressive nature of our business, underpinned by our collaborative partnerships, and the passion and dedication of our people, is all reinforced strongly through our partnership with Louis. We’re extremely proud of what he has achieved so far and we’re looking forward to continuing our exciting partnership with this talented young man in 2020 as he embarks on the British F3 Championship.”

The 16-year-old’s debut season in the BRDC British F3 Championship gets underway over the 12th and 13th April as the new campaign kicks off at Oulton Park.
